34 Bed CV ICU, MCS Device, MICU Unit - Nurse to Patient Ratio 1-2:1

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager MICU is responsible for providing clinical leadership, operational oversight, and staff development within the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care while driving performance improvement initiatives and fostering a collaborative interdisciplinary environment!

The Nurse Manager will demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, clinical expertise, and operational management skills to support both patient outcomes and team engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field highly preferred
• Current Texas RN License required
• National certification in specialty practice and/or administration within six months of hire
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum five (5) years of recent nursing experience required
• Minimum one (1) year of recent supervisory experience (Assistant Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse) in direct patient care required
