This position will have a broad range of responsibilities with a primary focus on income tax. You will report to the Senior Director of Tax and work with other members of the tax and finance teams, collaborating with cross-functional business partners from time-to-time.What You'll DoPrepare quarterly and annual income tax provision and forecastWork with internal and external partners to help manage U.S. federal, state and local income tax filingsAssist with M&A transactions, focusing on tax due diligence and post-merger integrationAssist with analysis and preparation of stock based compensation modelsAssist with ad hoc requests and projects as necessary, including but not limited to tax research projects, R&D tax credit studies, etcDrive the digital transformation of our tax function, identifying and executing process improvements through technology, automation, and AISuccessful candidate will be open to exploring all areas of tax as this role could evolve into 80/20 percent direct/indirect taxesRequiredBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field2+ years of significant experience at a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of a multinational companyProficient in Excel and AI technologyStrong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive and inquisitiveStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively internally as well as with external service providersPreferredMasters in Tax or AccountingCertified Public AccountantBoth public accounting and technology industry experienceExperience with Oracle and AIWhat Makes Cloudflare Special?We're not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
