Assembly Technician

Product AssemblerProduct Assemblers play a very important role within Flow-Tek, a subsidiary of Bray International, Inc. If you are looking for a stable and profitable company to work for, this position is for you. Our assemblers safely, efficiently, and successfully complete mechanical assemblies of industrial valves, actuators and accessories. If you have the potential to learn and the desire to work hard, you will excel as a product assembler. Flow-Tek takes great pride in producing products of the highest quality and value and cannot fulfill that promise without valued product assemblers. This position is for our day shift and requires lifting up to 50 pounds as well as the ability to stand for long periods of time. Stand up reach truck experience is a plus.Product Assemblers will be responsible for:Safely, efficiently and successfully completing mechanical assemblies of industrial valves, actuators and accessoriesFollowing instructions on sales orders and work ordersMaintaining a healthy and clean work environmentFollowing company safety production policies and proceduresAdapting to change and new situationsShift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Additional mandatory overtime may be required, extending shifts to 10–12 hours. Additional hours on Saturdays may also be required as needed.Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of equivalent experienceMust possess strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityMust adhere by safety policies and maintain a safe workstationMust be driven with a sense of responsibility and accountabilityStrong work ethicAbility to stand for long hoursAbility to lift up to 50 poundsHighly dependable and flexibleGood communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructionsAttention to detail and precision in workAvailable to work overtime hoursThe following experiences are considered a plus:Assembling and pressure-testing valvesAble to interpret electrical wiring diagramsSkilled at bending stainless steel and/or copper tubingStand-up Reach Truck experienceKnowledgeable on computersPossesses critical thinking skillsAt Bray International, we are the leading provider of industrial valves, actuators, and related control products, renowned for our innovative flow control solutions worldwide.
