Job Details

• Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – General Anesthesiology
• Employment Type: Contract role
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,810 - $6,120
• Shift Duration: 16-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Full scheduled shift coverage required; day shifts
• Case Mix: OB, ortho, GI, EP, and IR; minimal pediatrics; no neuro cases
• Call: Second call with beeper 1-2 times per week and occasional 24-hour in-house call
• Privileging Timeframe: Approximately 6-8 weeks

Job Requirements

• Current RN license and compliance with advanced practice nursing requirements
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification or Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
• At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a care team model within an anesthesia care team
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered anesthesia care

CRNA Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and procedures with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia safely
• Monitor physiological status throughout surgical and procedural cases and respond to changes as needed
• Provide clinical intervention and support during a variety of anesthesia cases
• Collaborate with physicians and the anesthesia care team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems
