What You'll Do

As a Part-Time Paramedic, you will work alongside Nuclear Medicine Technologists, physicians, and clinical staff at our client cardiology facilities. You will play a vital role in supporting cardiac stress testing procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical care.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and educate patients for cardiac stress testing procedures
• Obtain patient histories and perform focused clinical assessments
• Monitor patients during testing, including ECG monitoring and vital sign evaluation
• Establish and maintain IV access as part of stress testing protocols
• Assist with treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing procedures
• Respond appropriately to patient concerns or changes in clinical condition
• Accurately document patient information, assessments, and test data
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical and safety standards

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Paramedic program
• Current Paramedic certification and/or New Jersey State Licensure, as applicable
• Strong IV placement and management skills
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and physical examination
• Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
