Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Interventional cardiac Cath lab experience required - Required cardiac Cath lab procedure experience includes: - Circulate procedures - Diagnostic catheterizations (adult) - Left heart catheterization - Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Right heart catheterization - Required medication experience in procedural sedation administration/monitoring - Required professional skills/expertise include: - Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias - Monitoring procedural sedation - Cerner experience required Description: This position is for a Cath Lab nurse. The unit has an average daily census of 25 patients and consists of 5 rooms. The nurse will be required to work 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call duties will be required as needed. The schedule may allow for discussions regarding block requests. All travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Candidates must understand and commit to the role's requirements. Disclosures of background check findings are required for client review and approval. The facility is an acute care facility that is a Magnet hospital and a level I trauma center. All required documentation must be completed in a timely manner.
