Position Overview:
A premier manufacturer and product distributor in Boca Raton is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to oversee inventory control, freight management, and vendor procurement. salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international freight logistics, tracking shipments from purchase order generation to final delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within enterprise systems and conduct monthly stock audits.
- Issue purchase orders, negotiate pricing and lead times with freight carriers/suppliers, and manage customs documentation.
- Partner with warehouse managers to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve shipping discrepancies.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics coordination, or purchasing.
- Solid experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills.
- strong negotiation skills and experience working with ocean/air/ground freight carriers.
