Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Coordinator (Level III) to support contract management, maintenance planning, and project execution activities within the power generation and utility construction environment. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience coordinating contracts for power plants, utility construction, transmission, substation, solar, wind, or related energy infrastructure projects .

The Contract Coordinator III will be responsible for managing contract documentation, reviewing agreements for compliance, supporting negotiations, maintaining contract databases, and providing oversight throughout contract execution. This position also works closely with maintenance teams, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of maintenance and construction activities.

The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in contract administration, regulatory compliance, risk management, reporting, and utility industry operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesContract Administration & Compliance

• Review contractual agreements, amendments, and related documents for compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Generate and distribute contracts, amendments, confirmations, and related commercial documentation.
• Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing contract documentation.
• Maintain contract management systems and counterparty databases with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support contract negotiations and resolution of contractual issues.
• Lead strategic contract planning and execution activities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and financial risks.

Project & Maintenance Coordination

• Collaborate with maintenance specialists, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and contractors to support outage, overhaul, and maintenance projects.
• Assist in developing and implementing complex work execution plans.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Support unplanned scope changes and resolve technical or contractual issues as they arise.
• Ensure all work activities align with safety, environmental, quality, and operational standards.

Reporting & Analysis

• Support proforma development and assumption validation.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and performance metrics for leadership and project teams.
• Analyze contract and project data to provide recommendations and improve business processes.
• Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to streamline contract and maintenance processes.

Required QualificationsExperience

• 10+ years of experience in:
  • Contract administration and negotiations
  • Legal compliance
  • Financial risk management
  • Utility, power generation, or construction projects

Industry Experience Preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
