Financial Statement Analyst (Immediate, Temp to Hire)

The Choice is facilitating an immediate contract opportunity for our client, a major trade association in Tyson's Corner, for a Financial Statement Analyst.

One of the key benefits this association provides to its members is the distribution of monthly composite reports that allow automobile dealers to compare their performance to others in the industry nationally. Members submit their financial data to the association, which is then compiled into these reports. The Financial Statement Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely review and processing of monthly financial statements used to create these composite reports.

Position Details

• Position Type: This position will start on a temporary basis during a busy time in the department, but there could be potential for a temporary to hire scenario.
• Schedule: In‑office in Tysons Corner from Monday–Thursday; remote on Fridays. We are seeking candidates who are available to start in early July.
• Compensation: $30–$35 per hour; $65-70k perm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in billing, financial analysis, accounting, or related financial data support required
• Prior professional experience in an automobile dealership would be a very large plus!
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data functions)
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong customer service, communication skills and flexibility

Job Duties

• Review and process monthly financial statements from 400+ automotive dealerships
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting
• Generate monthly financial composite reports
• Investigate discrepancies and communicate directly with dealerships
• Maintain SOPs and support ongoing process improvements
