Ensure new patient records received and abstracted for physician review. Telephone triage of clinic patients. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, chemo/surgery/BMT/CARt teaching, treatment side effects.Administer intermuscular and subcutaneous chemotherapy injections, work with CADD pumps for continuous infusions, access/de-access and trouble shoot PAS-ports and chest ports.For Surgical Clinics: Assist physician with in-office minor surgical procedures such as excisional biopsy /wide excision/ JP drain/wound vacuum care, wound drainage, minor surgical procedures.
