Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift 4x12The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. As an integral part of the healthcare team, this role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and quality nursing practices.ResponsibilitiesConduct nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission to form individualized care plans.Identify teaching needs and collaborate with patients and families to set care goals.Provide timely patient information for team conferences and maintain accurate documentation in medical records.Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs, focused on education and goal achievement.Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.Communicate pertinent changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.Promote a safe work and patient environment in compliance with policies and procedures.Engage in professional development and self-study to enhance nursing skills.Oversee charge responsibilities as required and contribute to a positive work environment.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBLS Certification required prior to first shift.ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.ScheduleThis is a 13-week contract position with a day shift, comprising 4 shifts of 12 hours each.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
