Equity Research Analyst

We are partnering with a leading investment bank and institutional brokerage platform looking to add a Senior Equity Research professional to its New York office. The team is focused on emerging and disruptive technology companies across: AI Software Semiconductors IT Services This opportunity is ideal for either: An established Equity Research Analyst with existing coverage, or A highly experienced Senior Associate (4–5+ years) ready to step into lead coverage responsibilities. The role offers the chance to build and own coverage across a dynamic universe of small- and micro-cap technology companies at the forefront of innovation. Responsibilities Lead fundamental equity research coverage across emerging technology sectors Build and maintain detailed financial models, industry analyses, and valuation work Publish investment research, earnings notes, and thematic reports Develop differentiated investment views on disruptive technology trends Manage relationships with institutional investors and company management teams Take ownership of a coverage universe of at least 10 companies initially Support broader franchise development through thought leadership and client engagement Qualifications 4–10+ years of Equity Research experience covering Technology sectors Experience across AI software, semiconductors, IT services, or broader technology verticals preferred Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage coverage and generate investment ideas Bachelor’s degree required; CFA designation is a plus Highlights High visibility role with meaningful autonomy Opportunity to cover innovative, high-growth technology companies Entrepreneurial and collaborative platform Based in New York City #J-18808-Ljbffr Alexander Chapman
