Overview 20262027 School Year Job Title: High School Math Teacher Location: Kodiak Campus, Jacksonville, FL Job Type: Full-Time | 10-Month Contract Salary: Starting at $51,000 (based on experience) Job Summary Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher who is able to teach multiple math levels, including Algebra I through College Algebra. The ideal candidate will support student achievement through rigorous, standards-based instruction and strong mathematical reasoning development. Responsibilities Teach multiple high school math courses (Algebra I–College Algebra) Deliver standards-aligned instruction using Florida math standards Develop students’ problem-solving and analytical skills Use data to guide instruction and interventions Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents/guardians Collaborate with instructional staff and school leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (6–12) Strong content knowledge in high school math Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of teaching experience Experience teaching multiple math levels Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8-hour shift In-person position Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Life and disability insurance Paid time off Professional development opportunities Global Leadership Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
