Silicone extrusion operator

We are hiring a Silicone Extruder Operator in Mansfield, TX! Join a top aerospace manufacuring team in a clean, climate-controlled shop. Responsibilities

Primary Role: Operate silicone extruders while maintaining strict product quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Setup: Review schedules, mill silicone to spec, and prep hoses for extrusion.
• Equipment Operation: Set up extruders for vertical and horizontal wrapping according to manufacturing specs.
• Quality Control: Measure OD/wall thickness, pull test samples for lab analysis, and ensure all products meet tolerances.
• Documentation: Record all data required for traceability and production conformance.
• Workflow Support: Deliver reeled products to the coiling department and report any production issues to the Lead.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly work area following 5S practices and all safety/quality guidelines.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
