Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify each patient’s unique physical needs and limitations. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients’ specific conditions and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices. Utilize a wide variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to facilitate rehabilitation. Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, encouraging active participation in recovery through home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions and sharing insights to enhance treatment outcomes. Document patient progress meticulously and maintain accurate health records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Patient Population / Client Focus The patient population at LifeMotion reflects a diverse range of backgrounds and health challenges. You will work with patients of all ages, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence. Your role will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys, providing not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional support and encouragement. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required. Current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong desire to provide high-quality, empathetic patient care. A positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Preferred Experience Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is a plus, as it provides a better understanding of common conditions treated in this role. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management processes. Familiarity with evidence-based practice and a commitment to continuing education to stay current with advancements in the field. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan with employer matching contributions.
