Job Description

This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing industrial automation systems within a clean woodworking production environment. The Automation Technician applies strong electrical and controls knowledge to keep automated machinery running reliably, while also programming and integrating PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and vision systems to bring custom automation solutions to life.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on automated woodworking machinery, including CNC equipment, saws, conveyors, finishing equipment, and related systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
• Develop, test, integrate, and debug Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), robot-specific programs, vision systems, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) within robotic and automation systems.
• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot PLC- and robot-controlled automation systems to improve production performance and reliability.
• Assist in the design and maintenance of comprehensive electrical control systems for automated production lines in the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Belgrade, MN.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Belgrade,MN.
