Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a day shift assignment requiring proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department in a hospital setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• Call requirement includes one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
• Epic EMR system used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within Interventional Radiology required
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• State license required if applicable
• Proficient in using Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including venous access, angioplasty, embolization, stent placements, and related vascular and genitourinary interventions
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system effectively
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
• First-time travelers are not accepted; previous IR experience is required
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible for a travel assignment once away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees of this health system are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any of its hospital locations
• RTO must be requested and built into the contract prior to submission, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict credentialing timelines
