Senior Software Engineer

Job Duties Understand application architecture document and provide suggestions for better stability. Also, understand overall architecture in order to provide deliverables that are in line with architectural requirements. Work on Java server side programming which includes multithreaded, distributed computing and concurrency environment. Document and share own technology learnings from own module, seek information and leverage knowledge from other modules in order to drive higher efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze the environment, identify the impact and recommend viable solutions. Prepare proof of concept for major problems to convince business partner before implementing in production. Work on real-time data processing and messaging middleware concepts. Improve the performance of the SQL query, job scheduling or reporting needs. Consider all negative test cases and handle exceptions appropriately within the code. Lead assigned portion of the works. Get sign off from business partners. Ensure zero defects in production. Commit to business as usual after project is completed. Job Requirements Require Bachelor's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field. Require five years of experience in job offered, Software Consultant, Project Lead or related. Must have at least one year of experience in Flexera, Splunk, Ariba Buyer, Ariba Analysis, AQL, Selenium, JIRA.
