- Produce high-quality radiologic images by precisely positioning patients and selecting accurate exposure factors to give physicians the clearest possible diagnostic view.
- Advocate for patient safety by strictly adhering to radiation protection guidelines and monitoring individuals during procedures to eliminate unnecessary exposure and ensure comfort.
- Safeguard clinical data integrity through the prompt, accurate submission of images and patient history to PACS, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to flawless records.
- Manage and prepare contrast media safely within your state and federal scope of practice, expanding the diagnostic capabilities available to our patients.
- Maintain equipment and environment readiness by performing regular quality checks and ensuring imaging rooms are clean, safe, and fully operational for the next patient.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
