Registered Nurse Or Licensed Practical Nurse
This position involves providing healthcare services in a 31-bed adult facility in Commack, NY. The role requires assisting in the overall health and safety of individuals served under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Supervisor. The contract position is for the day shift, with working hours from Saturday to Tuesday, 07:00 am to 03:30 pm.
Supervise and train staff on medication administration and health protocols. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Generate and report incident, seizure, and illness reports. Monitor and maintain medical records per guidelines. Schedule and follow up on medical appointments and lab work. Ensure adequate supply of medications and medical goods. Document medical services and ensure pharmacy review every 90 days.
Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred.
