The patient population includes 70% medical patients and 30% cardiology patients. The facility utilizes an electronic medical record system. Daily census is approximately 15.5 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various therapeutic and social services. There is a requirement for float within the scope to meet facility needs. All scheduled shifts must be worked, and requests for time off are not accommodated during peak times. Candidates must demonstrate experience with Intensive Care Unit procedures and technologies. The facility is a Magnet-recognized institution with a focus on education and training. A strong background in critical care is essential. Candidates are required to have experience with specific procedures and manage complex patient cases.
