Body TechnicianTCC#8-Carrolton - Carrollton, TX 75006Job SummaryBody Technicians perform collision repair work on cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles, with a focus on quality, timeliness and safety.Duties/ResponsibilitiesDis-assemble vehicle in order to assist in identifying damaged componentsPlan Auto Body Repair steps according to the Repair PlanRepair/Replace damaged body components as identifiedGrind, file, sand, weld, cut etc...Thoroughly inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure all necessary repairs are complete and vehicle is ready for paintComply with all TCC's safety standards, guidelines and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsRequirements:Exceptional auto body repair skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.Ability to read service and repair manuals.Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.Ability to read and interpret repair orders.Must be 18 years or olderEducation and Experience:I-CAR certified preferredThree years of related experience.Physical Requirements:Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.Good vision to inspect repair work.Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level
