Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about supporting production operations through continuous improvement initiatives, equipment reliability enhancements, and engineering project execution. This role collaborates closely with maintenance, operations, and leadership to optimize manufacturing processes, manage technical documentation, and support capital projects.

What will you be doing?

• Maintain and manage the electronic CAD drawing database, ensuring accuracy and version control

• Support manufacturing operations through Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and optimize tooling inventory

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement process improvements and increase operational efficiency

• Assist in the repair, upgrade, and maintenance of production equipment and facility systems

• Support the Engineering Manager in the planning and execution of capital expenditure projects

• Manage and track inventory related to tooling, equipment, and engineering materials

• Oversee contractors during project execution to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirement

• Someone comfortable balancing modern engineering practices with traditional trade knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)

• Equivalent experience in skilled trades or related fields will be considered

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience

What competencies will you need?

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing management

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean methodologies

• Strong organizational and inventory management skills

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to support capital projects and cross-functional initiatives
