Entry Level Diesel MechanicCounty Waste has immediate opening for an Entry Level Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team at our site in Clifton Park, NY.Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm -12:30am / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed.Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)As a key member of our automotive maintenance technicians team, your work as a will focus on the PMCS of equipment used by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve, inspecting tires, break jobs, lube jobs, minor electrical and hydraulic repairs.Duties and responsibilities:Providing preventative maintenance check servicesTraining with senior techs to further skill setCompleting required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair timesCompleting, or assigning minor repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection ReportsAdvise supervisor on larger repairsConducting safety checks on vehicles and equipmentPerforming service calls for emergency breakdownsMaintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standardsWhat we need from you:Valid Driver's LicenseSchedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional SaturdaysAbility to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignmentsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWelding/fabrication experience, a major plusWhat you'll get from us:Competitive Compensation401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your futureHealthcare; Medical, Dental, VisionPerks, perks, perks!
