Job Description
RN - Nursing Resource Office (Tele Float Pool)

Schedule

12-hour Night shifts, 1845-0715. Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length of 13 weeks. Non-billable orientation of 8 hours.

Requirements

• Current RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Telemetry experience is a minimum requirement
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin is essential
• Progressive Care and ICU experience are preferred
• EMR experience with Altera Sunrise (similar to Cerner) is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to various units based on staffing needs and individual skills

Compliance / Notes

Orientation includes 2 days of general orientation, followed by clinical orientation and computer training. Shifts may vary by unit. Clients are allowed the cancellation of one shift per pay period at no cost with at least 2 hours notice.
