Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: North Central Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shift, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment, self-scheduling environment

Highlights:

• Level III NICU with 7-bed capacity serving a specialized patient population
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:3, allowing for focused and quality care delivery
• Equipment includes BCPAP and HFNC; documentation via Meditech and CPN systems
• Opportunity to attend deliveries including C-sections
• Floating available as needed; no mandatory call requirements
• Collaborative team environment with self-scheduling flexibility

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience in a NICU setting
• Level III NICU experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to attend all types of deliveries, including C-sections
• Professional appearance adhering to dress code standards (royal blue and/or white scrubs)
