Location: Cincinnati, OH Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually Maintenance Safety Specialist Greater Cincinnati, OH Area $65,000 - $80,000 + Benefits Description Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Safety Specialist to support plant safety, OSHA compliance, contractor safety, and maintenance-related safety programs. This is a day‑shift opportunity with strong growth potential. Responsibilities Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Support OSHA compliance, LOTO, machine guarding, contractor safety, and high‑risk work programs. Deliver safety training and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams on safety initiatives. Utilize safety software and computer‑based reporting systems. Qualifications & Requirements 2-3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and safety management systems. CSP or ASP certification preferred. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
