Graphic Designer

Description A health system is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house Marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will support the full range of marketing efforts across social media, web, print, digital, and video. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer who can translate strategic goals into polished, on-brand visuals across multiple platforms and deadlines. Skills Graphic design, Photoshop, Adobe creative suite, Illustrator, Brand marketing, Graphics, Visual, video editing, Digital, social media Top Skills Details Graphic design, Photoshop, Adobe creative suite, Illustrator, Brand marketing, Graphics, Visual, video editing Additional Skills & Qualifications Key Responsibilities Design engaging, on-brand graphics for social media, email, and digital advertising campaigns Create and maintain web assets, including banners, landing page graphics, and UI elements Develop print materials such as brochures, flyers, signage, and event collateral Support video projects, including basic editing, motion graphics, and animated content Collaborate with the marketing team and CMO to translate strategic direction into compelling visual content Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and materials Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment Stay current on design trends, healthcare marketing best practices, and industry standards Assist with photography and image editing/retouching as needed Qualifications 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (healthcare or related industry a plus) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required Working knowledge of video editing/motion graphics tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects) preferred Experience designing for web and familiarity with content management systems a plus Strong portfolio demonstrating range across social, print, digital, and video design Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and brand consistency Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Secaucus, NJ. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
