Job Description Summary

The Home Health Community Relations Liaison in conjunction with the members of the Home Health Team, is responsible for activities and actions related to promoting the services and expertise of the organization to the medical community, as well as the patients and family members. As well as providing the community with ongoing education regarding our agency’s services.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with referrals sources in the San Francisco and San Mateo territory
• Meeting regularly with Management, Senior Director of Strategy and Innovations, and/or Marketing Consultant
• In collaboration with Director of Patient Care Services, provide health care informational meetings directly with potential patient/clients to facilitate their entry into the health care program
• Assist Account Executives and administrator in obtaining documents from physician’s office or hospitals
• Demonstrate ability to discuss end-of-life issues comfortably and articulately
• Other projects as directed.

Position Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Excellent people skills
• Exude professionalism: polished and energetic
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Licensed driver with insured automobile
• Position requires frequent automobile travel within designated geographical areas

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience
• Experience may be evaluated on case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree
• Prior marketing experience
