Overview Position Type: Middle School Teaching/ Foreign Language - Spanish Date Posted: 5/27/2026 Location: Ashland Middle School (Location subject to change at the discretion of the district and student needs.) Date Available: 2026-2027 SY Closing Date: 06/10/2026 FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position) About the Role The School District of Ashland is seeking a qualified candidate for its World Language department. This individual would be responsible for a wide range of course offerings with a focus of spanish language skills. This position requires a student focused, organized, positive and flexible person with a strong desire to help students succeed academically. Responsibilities and Qualifications This position requires, but is not limited to the following : Any other Wisconsin Certification - Foreign Language (Grades 7-12) Ability to forge positive relationships with parents/guardians of students and facilitate student/parent/teacher meetings as needed. Ability to work collegially with administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and the community as needed. Experience in developing, writing and evaluating curriculum preferred. Ability to be innovative in teaching and student engagement. Ability to forge positive relationships with student learners. Other duties as assigned to evolve student offerings.
