Student Employee - Marketing and Communications (Summer)

Pay Range: Targeted salary $10.00/hr, based on experience Benefits Eligible: No Work Schedule: Flexible with class schedule; occasional nights and weekends required Travel: May be required Position Introduction Performs a variety of tasks within the Marketing and Communications team for Housing and Food Services including: Producing/editing marketing materials Development and design of print and web advertising Marketing promotions Marketing research Social media updates Account management Required Education and Experience Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Skills Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Department Preferences Prefer strong communication, teamwork, organization and time management skills. Prefer students majoring in any of the following fields: Communication Journalism Business Graphic Arts etc. Prefer students looking to gain experience in print, photography, visual communication, social media, account management, writing, videography and web design.
