Prisma Health - Medical Park Road - Responsibilities: Coordinate ophthalmology referrals and precertifications to ensure timely authorization and scheduling; Document actions and encounters related to referrals and follow-ups in electronic medical records; Communicate scheduling requirements and status updates to patients, referring physicians, and third-party payors; Assist patients with navigating the healthcare system and financial obligations, including arranging interpreters or transportation as needed; Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while supporting a seamless patient experience
