Job Title: RN Baylor Supervisor Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Department: Nursing Supervisors Requisition Number: 0000254778 Status: Salaried (Full‑Time) Shift: Day Pay Range: $115,657.80 – $150,355.14 per year (New Jersey) Job Overview The Nursing Supervisor represents hospital administration and serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team for the assigned shift. The role coordinates, evaluates quality and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, and NJDOH licensing standards during off‑shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of nursing Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience Prior nursing supervisory or management experience Progressive managerial nursing experience Successful completion of all Orientation Programs Preferred: Critical care experience Certifications and Licenses Required Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (upon hire) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Additional certifications as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy Scheduling Requirements Full‑Time, 24 hours weekly Must be willing to work weekends only Essential Functions Coordinating and evaluating management and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center during off‑shifts, weekends, and holidays Ensuring unit/department/division compliance with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations Other Duties Note: this job description is not designed to cover all activities, duties, or responsibilities of the employee; duties may change at any time with or without notice.
