47 years ago, the "Habit" burger stand opened in Santa Barbara Ca. The aroma of freshly grilled Charburgers was so inviting people simply couldn't ignore it! Over 40 years ago the "Habit", burger stand opened in Santa Barbara Ca. The original plan was to provide a great affordable burger to the Santa Barbara neighborhood. Thanks to our loyal customers, one location turned into two, then three and now almost 60 locations all company owned! Now we ask for your support to help us grow in your neighborhood.

For many years we've been the local favorite in the Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Since then our growth has taken us throughout LA, up to Sacramento and the East Bay, down to San Diego, out to Phoenix and soon to Utah. All this represents growing opportunities for our people. Cashiers and Cook's became Managers; Managers grew to District Managers and District Managers to Directors of Operations.
