What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) This role requires a team player who is willing to move between departments such as Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping and Returns based on operational needs. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following core functions: Handling & Movement: Safely load, unload and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This will involve manually lifting items up to 75 lbs. unassisted and maneuvering / team lifting products up to 150 lbs. Technology & Inventory: Utilize scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus) and warehouse software to accurately track, process and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages. Quality & Preparation: Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, which may include inspecting, assembling (deluxing), repackaging, labeling and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping. Safety & Teamwork: Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean organized work area (5S) to ensure safety and efficiency. What You’ll Need Physical Capability: The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non climate‑controlled warehouse environment. The ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs. unassisted. Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you. Experience (Preferred): Previous warehouse, logistics or comparable experience is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is also preferred.
