As a Front Desk Security Professional at a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a utility office front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Monitor visitor access, verify identification and authorization as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs. Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel in a courteous and professional manner. Observe front-desk activity and report unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activity to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
