About the Role:

Join Happy Paws, Inc. as a Canine Specialist in beautiful Missoula, MT! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for the well-being and happiness of our furry friends while providing exceptional care and training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and supervision for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
• Conduct engaging training sessions to enhance obedience and socialization skills.
• Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all canine guests.
• Assist in organizing fun activities and playgroups for dogs.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's progress and needs.
• Stay updated on canine care best practices and training techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all dogs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in animal care, veterinary, or dog training.
• Strong understanding of canine behavior and training methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus.
• Passion for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift and handle dogs safely.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
