Description American Traveler is hiring an RN Perioperative Circulator for the Adult Surgery unit, requiring at least one year of acute operating room experience and current CNOR eligibility preferred. Details Adult Surgery unit within an acute operating room setting Night shift schedule with 40 hours per week across 5 eight-hour shifts Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) CNOR certification preferred Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room environment, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 trauma center required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN or higher preferred Strong knowledge of AORN standards and professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Full date of birth and full Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room, individualizing care based on patient health status, age, and procedure type Responsible for ongoing evaluation and documentation of care using the nursing process Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding steps including drug screens and background checks must begin immediately upon offer Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer due to compliance requirements Extensions are limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying First-time travelers will be considered for this position These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
