Product Manager Full Time Engineering Vernon Hills, IL, Vernon Hills, IL, US Salary Range: $129,917.00 To $132,000.00 Annually Schedule : Full-time Job Description Product Managers for Vernon Hills, IL location. Concentrate on products or product groups in order to increase revenue, market share, and profitability in wastewater treatment system industry. Provide technical engineering sales support to various customers. Responsible for profit and loss of assigned product and take any necessary action to continue to make product sustainable and profitable. Promote product line directly and indirectly with representatives to win the pre-selection process. Develop ideas and plans for wastewater product improvements, cost reduction, win strategies, development funding, and determine resource allocation and then institute those ideas. Develop product specific selling strategies and perform competitive intelligence as needed to execute growth strategies. Develop a business plan with a clear, go-to-market strategy, including growth and sales strategies related to the Aftermarket Parts and Services business for the product/portfolio. Work closely with Application Engineers and Technical Sales Managers to all customers including for piloting work. Develop training presentations and materials for assigned product. Train sales, application engineering, representatives, service department, and the parts department. Provide mechanical and operational expertise in support of technical sales. Function as product expert on wastewater equipment design and applications while managing the product throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Technical Skills: ERP systems, integration of controls, FEA, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor; MSOffice, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); spiral, In-channel, internal and external rotary screens, conveyors and dewatering presses in primary wastewater treatment; rotating equipment; fluid loads mechanics; anchored load calculations; Salesforce CRM; ISO9001. Job Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field plus 3 years of experience as an Engineer or with wastewater treatment engineering required. Required Skills: Must have previous experience with Engineering, Designing Headworks for wastewater treatment (WWT) systems including Pilot work, Sales and field service; Salesforce CRM; ISO9001; WWT product design and processes experience with spiral, In-channel, internal and external rotary screens, conveyors and dewatering presses in primary wastewater treatment; experience verifying Anchored load calculations to meet Seismic conditions; ERP systems, FEA, Inventor; excellent written and verbal skills required. Travel to client sites required (20-40%). Some telecommuting permitted.
