Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager is a critical member of the site leadership team, responsible for leading the Engineering and Maintenance organization. This role owns the site capital budget and leads capital projects up to $3M, ensuring projects are designed and executed with a strong focus on safety, operability, reliability, and cost effectiveness. The Engineering Manager plays a key role in process optimization, new product alignment, and continuous improvement, while developing talent to meet both current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site Engineering and Maintenance organizations to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations
• Own and manage the site capital budget, including planning, prioritization, execution and coordination with the business team.
• Lead capital projects up to $3M, from concept through design, implementation, and startup
• Provide project engineering and project management support across the site
• Drive chemical process engineering and process optimization initiatives
• Manage technical issues related to modifications, expansions, and maintenance, ensuring RAGAGEP standards are incorporated into all designs and changes
• Champion continuous improvement across engineering, maintenance, and reliability processes
• Serve as a senior leader and active member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT)
• Optimize energy usage and infrastructure, supporting Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives
• Ensure all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded, including PSM, RMP, ISO 9001, RC14001, NFPA 70B, API 510/520/521/570/653, Site safety processes and audit

• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build organizational capability and succession
• Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and leadership at all levels

Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or another engineering discipline with extensive process engineering experience
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or process-based industrial environment
• Proven experience in Engineering leadership and people management, Plant and process engineering, Capital project management and execution, Change management, Continuous improvement and reliability
