Med-Surg Licensed Practical Nurse
This full-time Med-Surg Licensed Practical Nurse position is located in Ozark, Alabama. The role provides compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting patient recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit
- Monitor vital signs and assist with treatments and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by supervising RN or physician
- Document patient information accurately in charts and electronic medical records
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and overall comfort
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support the Med-Surg team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required
Preferred Skills:
- One year of recent Medical-Surgical experience
