Packaging Technician

Job Title Packaging Technician Shifts & Pay 1st Shift - 06:45 AM to 2:45 PM $17.00/hr 2nd Shift - 3:15 PM to 11:15 PM $18.70/hr Responsibilities Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility. Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner. Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products while ensuring adherence to specifications and the highest quality standards. Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks. Perform computer-related tasks to complete necessary duties. Participate in start-up and closure of packaging jobs. Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP. Assemble, fill, package, and label pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products. Perform computer-related tasks for signing in to a job, in-process actions, and data entry. Perform counts of components and drug product. Hard Skills Packaging Labeling Filling Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Work Environment Must be okay working in a freezer environment. This is a clean room environment that requires gowning. Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE) including but not limited to filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses is required to perform this position. PAPR/Refrigerator - $2 extra on base pay for every hour worked. Freezer - $3 extra on base pay for every hour worked.
