Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop tailored therapy goals.
  
  
• 
  Administer occupational therapy treatments using general acute care equipment and techniques.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in Meditech EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices for acute care environments.
  
  
• 
  Adapt to evolving patient needs and modify therapy plans accordingly.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Kansas occupational therapy license.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 6 months hospital-based OT experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to work independently with high accountability.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Preferred: trauma and stroke care experience.
