This position involves working on a Level IV maternal and Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The role focuses on providing exceptional postpartum nursing services in a busy, high-volume setting, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and effective patient management. Job Details: Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts) Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 09/14/2026 Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Texas licensure, at least 1 year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and NRP Advanced Provider certification Preferred Qualifications: Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience, familiarity with EMR Meditech and CPN software Type of unit: 24 beds, staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs during day shifts, no patient care technicians at night Patient Ratios: Usually 3:1 or 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on patient acuity Typical Procedures: Non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin and magnesium drips, heparin administration Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Additional Information: The unit prides itself on advanced equipment, experienced staff, and a collaborative team environment.
