Delivery Driver JRT Mechanical seeks delivery drivers for its shop and projects. The role involves transporting material and pre‑fab to and from the shop, inspecting vehicles, planning routes, and documenting work periods. Responsibilities Transport material and pre‑fab to and from the shop and our projects. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Assist with shop duties as needed when deliveries are not needed. Primary vehicle is a Peterbilt 10‑speed manual transmission truck pulling a 48-foot trailer. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Must be able to safely operate a manual transmission Class A commercial truck (no automatic transmission restriction). Proven work experience as a truck driver. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
