Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our team in the Ohio area. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys traffic related engineering projects. The Traffic Engineer will have demonstrated technical experience in Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and municipal projects. What You’ll Do: Oversee and manage traffic engineering studies and design projects from the planning phases through final construction plans Part of project teams to ensure project completion by the defined deadline, within the established budget while providing a high-quality product for our clients Meet with clients, both internal and external, to understand project needs and provide guidance and strategy on transportation related aspects of projects Understand and be able to communicate the study and approval processes for various studies required by regulatory agencies Contribute to project proposals, including developing scopes of work, fees, and schedules, as part of project development for a wide variety of projects ranging in size and complexity What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program 3+ years’ experience in civil and traffic engineering Professional Engineering License (PE) required and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Registration (PTOE) Experience working with both public and private clients Experience working with both local and state agenciesMicroStation and Geopak experience, required HCS software and Synchro VISSIM and/or TransModeler experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven ability to be part of a high-performing team Salary Range: The starting salary for this position is $80,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
