About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Architecture to join their dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the architectural department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design and projects. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing design and construction standards, overseeing all architectural projects from conception to completion, and managing timelines, budgets, and project priorities. The Head of Architecture will also be expected to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams, provide mentorship to junior staff, and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends to integrate into the company's architectural strategy. Applicants for the Head of Architecture position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field, be a Registered Architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an architectural department. Proficiency in architecture design, AutoCAD, and Revit is essential, as is a strong knowledge of CAD and other design software. The role requires excellent leadership, team management, communication, and presentation skills, as well as a strong understanding of building codes, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and design, with a continuous desire to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
