ABOUT OUR AGENCY:

Ive proudly served as a State Farm agent since 1985 and have spent more than 40 years helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. I earned my bachelors degree in business from East Carolina University, and over the years Ive built an office culture centered around knowledge, trust, and building long lasting relationships with our customers and community.

Our office is friendly, supportive, and team oriented with a work hard, play hard mentality. We currently have three full time team members and one part time team member, and were excited to continue growing our team. With over 85 years of combined insurance experience in the office, we pride ourselves on providing personalized guidance, respecting our customers budgets, and delivering the kind of small town service people can count on.

Gary Elliott - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
