Job Details:

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: West Bronx, NY

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2684.48 - 2818.70

Schedule: 5 - 8hr shifts with 1hr lunch. Total of 35 guaranteed hours per week

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements:

• New York State License as an X-ray Technologist
• Certification to inject per the requirements of section 89.40 of part 89
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered)
• BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology
• Cardiovascular credentialing (CCI) (ARRT) or (RCIS)
• Two (2) years' experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the Cardiology unit
• Assist with interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
