Job Title Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to support all maintenance and housekeeping related activities for the sustainment of the facility. Responsibilities include using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and equipment to maintain, repair, and fabricate items throughout the grounds and facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform common housekeeping tasks related to a factory environment (trash removal, recycling, floor and carpet maintenance, painting, assembly of pre‑fabricated items, and furniture moving). Support Industrial Engineers with 5S initiatives. Support HR and Employee's Club with company events. Open and close the facility when required. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands The job requires sitting and performing computer work for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for prolonged periods, crouching, shoveling snow, and cutting grass. Work Environment Work will be conducted on the manufacturing floor and/or in the maintenance shop with moderate noise levels. Some travel may be required (approximately 10 %). Candidate Skills & Requirements Capable of assisting senior mechanics with carpentry, electrical, and mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of 5S workplace practices. Willing to work outside in inclement weather. Team player with an excellent attendance record. Must be able to work flexible hours. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge/Skills Experience in a cross‑functional/international team environment (basic). Preference for bilingual English with French or Spanish.
